Could be a 'proportion' issue. I know, from the front grill of my tractor to the hyd cooler core is at least 10".. if not a full foot. This is to accomodate the air cleaner at the top of the hood, which, by the way, doesn't impede air tot he rad core, or cooler core.

I agree.. a standard hose clamp won't.. but there are special clamps that will work on 2 and 4 wire hose... in any case.. I'm pretty sure my hose ends have cimped on fittings...( like you would normally see on a hyd hose.. ) I don't feel like running out to the barn at this hour.. but that is what i recall anyway..

Couldn't tell ya. I know I can get 2500 on the dot from my newly repaired remote packs ( 700$) before the relief pops..
I havn't looked at the plumbing of the full system, or where the cooler is, however mine doesn't have the left front engine mounted aux pump.. everything including independent pto and pow steering is run off the main pump.. not sure if cooler is in low or high pressure side. I -DO- know that the 1-gallon paint can size filter for the hyds costs a good deal of money... Nothing like paying almost 40$ for the filter and then replacing 48 qts of oil /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif NH tech also told me that some models have 1 or 2 additional cannister style filters along with the big horzontal mount filter I replaced. Those additional fitlers are 14$ a pop...
Those make for some expensive oil changes...
