I noticed a leak near my hydraulic filter. I replaced the filter because it was dented think that this was the problem. I still have a small leak. Is it possible to knock the body that the filter attaches to loose or could I have bent it. Any suggestions?

Each time, the flange or adaptor that mounts the filter to the tractor got broken.
If your leak is around that filter, I'd take a good look at the filter mount and make sure it's not cracked. As I found out the hard way, it's not very well protected.
It wasn't that hard to replace the damaged parts myself ... you end up draining most of the hydraulic fluid out in the process. (make sure you get the gasket to go with the part)

Use a straight edge to help determine if the mating surface is true.. if it ain't.. you can bet that it is damaged / warped / cracked.

Strangely I noticed a leak, from the bracket holding the hydraulic filter(suction side) about the time you posted. A week and 20 hours on the tractor later, the dealer says it was just a cocked o ring. I am glad he fixed the leak,but did not anticipate 100 hour service to be due at the end of the week.
