TC33D ignition problems

Have a 04 TC33D started fine until in the worst place possible went to start and it started to turn over {half of a crank) Then nothing. small click from under dash when switch goes into start position. Have put power to the solinoid and starter turns motor over but does not start. Engine is not getting fuel. glow plug light comes on and times out ok. Light comes on when pto is engaged. I replaced the range safty switch, checked fuses, battery and terminals. seat safty switch has been bypassed for years and checked that for corrosion it is ok. Have read there is a "fixit" starter relay for these problems. I would like to bypass all safty switchs as they tend to cause more problems than helping. If anyone has had a similar problem please help me out.

There is a fuel shutoff solenoid on the injector pump, it has one wire going to it.
Check that you are getting power to it, or maybe the solenoid is bad.

+1, if the solenoid is not getting power, you can unscrew it and the engine will start when you hotwire the starter. However, you'll have to screw it back in with the engine running to kill the engine. An alternate method is to jumper 12 volts to the solenoid and then remove it when you get the tractor to a good place to troubleshoot. In the New Holland Owning/Operating forum, there is an extensive thread on TC33 starting problems. It's a sticky thread at the top of the forum. I would look closely at that since it covers most bases.

Thanks to all that replied the culprit was corrosion in the relay under the rear fender. The socket was corroded. Put new relay in and it turned a half crank. Wiggle around and it starts every time. Placing electrical devices where they get wet is a great idea(not). I still want to bypass the mid pto safety. I never have used it or intend to. If anyone has info on how to do that I would appreciate it. Thanks again.
