Hi All,

Anyone know if the first rear remote can be installed without removing the rear tire?

The quick connects look larger than the ones on the rest of the tractor, anyone know which size and type they are so I can order some male ends?

Doing the install either this weekend or next and I want to be prepared.

Thanks in advance!
Jay

I think you will spend a lot more time and grief if you don't remove the tire than you will removing it. Just keep it near vertical and you can roll it easily and lean it up against something like the front of the tractor. That's what I did.

My remotes use 1/2" QDs and my loader uses 3/8" QDs.

Ditto what Jim said. Much easier to remove the rear tire.

I have a much smaller TC18 and the instructions suggested I remove the tire. Man I wish had done so.

Thanks All,

I will remove the tire. I cleaned up the garage enough to give me some "running" room in case of problems!
