TC33DA remotes

The dealer just dropped off my TC33DA hydro. It had all the goodies I ordered except the remote valve. He said they are on back order and it could be several months until it arrives. Apparently there are over 200 on back order. Has anyone else run into this problem?

When I first saw the pictures of the new DA models I thought it was one ugly tractor, but when I saw it in person I really liked it. It's a nice machine, the hydro and power steering are a nice switch from the old 1510 gear drive and manual steering, especially with a bucket full of stone. Now if I could just get myself to stop looking for the shifter every time I want to change direction....

I was told the same thing by my dealer. I thought he was just trying to pass the buck for his oversight. I'll probably have to wait quite some time for mine since my dealer is 300 miles away.

As soon as you get used to the hydro pedal, be careful around your car. It's a rude wakeup to discover the accelerator and brake pedals are not forward and reverse. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Luckily, I don't need the remote for anything right now. It was just one of those things that sounded like I could find a lot of uses for it. I'd like to use a hydraulic top link for a box blade and scraper blade in the future. It costs less to get it with the machine than to buy it later and install it.

The hydro will take some getting used to. Forward isn't bad, bacause it's similar to the 'gas pedal' on the old one, but I get confused everytime I look for reverse. I'm so used to shifting and clutching that I haven't got the hang of using my heel on the back end of the hydro pedal yet.

Now if we'd just get some snow I could actually usse it for something. Can't dig in this weather, I know, I tried!

I got a call from the dealer this morning, he'll be down tomorrow to install the valve. The backorder went pretty quick.

I own the same 04, with SuperSteer, I'm not sure what you mean by remote? Could you help me out?

Remote hydraulic outlets at the rear of the tractor. Last week I had two sets (max supported) on my TC25D. I had the first set but had not installed them. I called the dealer and told him I wanted him to come out and install the first remote and also bring the second remote and install that. I called on a Tuesday and had them installed by Friday. I do not know if the 33DA and the 25D use the same rear remotes or not, the 25D and the 33D do.

A remote is a hydraulic control valve with the corresponding hoses to operate an auxiliary attachment. A single remote consists of one valve and two hoses with two quick attach couplers. The attachment can be a hydraulic post auger, a hydraulic cylinder on a rear blade or a t-n-t system or any other attachment that requires hydraulic power.

Thanks for the info, I guess I dont need them now, since I only use the 15la loader & rear scraper blade. I recently tried to get a 63CSH snow blower for the front, & the dealer told me the quick attach bracket is only for the non super steer model. So does anyone else have a super steer with the same problem? I am a liitle annoyed since I was told the blower would fit, and find out after the fact it does not.
