TC34DA Seat Safety Switch...?

I took delivery of my TC34 this spring. A couple of months later, I was informed that there was a recall campaign for the operator presence (seat safety) switch. I believe that it related more to the issue of not killing the tractor when it should than to the issue of keeping the tractor running. The dealer came out and "fixed" it - installed a spacer and adjusted, I believe. Prior to the fix, I experienced the same issue as you - an overly sensitive seat safety switch (it would beep when I turned around to fiddle with something). I have only ran my tractor a few times since they fixed the switch, but I haven't had it beep at me since. Probably should discuss the issue with your dealer, make sure the recall issue is addressed, and see it they can adjust it to suit you.

I would think that the parts guys would have access to TSB's err... at least that's what Honda guys call Technical Service Bulletin... I'll mention your situation to them, since it sounds EXACTLY what I'm going through... what a great place this is! Great forum!

TC33DRon, Yes, now that you say it. Looks a lot like corrosion and could be the whole problem.

Thanks bub! Yeah, she likes it in there... although we're still keeping the .22 Remington on stand by, I've since seen quite a few fat looking farm rats... ohs well...

Cool beans man, I'll write down that part number and tell my dealer. I wonder why that thread didn't come up when I did a search last week... hmmm, no wonder they need a PHP/MySQL Programmer... I wish I had the time to lend them... heh...
