So to access some of my land I have a short road trek. Returning on it I noticed my front tires were leaving marks on the road. The front tires were well worn when I bought it and was planning on replacing but it appeared something was wrong.
When I got back I parked it after driving straight so wheels should be straight forward. What I found was both tires are toed out hard, I mean inches. A quick look at the steering linkage I found the bar (tie rod?) connecting the two wheel hubs on the back side is bowed backwards, IE Bent. I'm assuming this is the issue.
My question is how hard is that to replace?
Is there a documented process to align the wheels after I replace it?
Where can I buy that part online? I just want to compare the cost to my not so local dealer.
Thanks
