Don't mind sharing at all.
I got a real easy no barter price of 13,500 for the MF 1440V.
I got a real easy no barter price of 14,300 for the TC 35
Both with R4s
I have no breakdown on the FEL for the 1440 because I was so pleased with the price I quickly put a package together totaling 21,300 (tiltbed trailer,boxblade/bush hog/fel)
The FEL (16LA) with a 72" HD bucket is 4199.00 installed
The Rhino SE06 6' rotary cutter with slip clutch is 1350.00
Both of these item from the NH dealer are not anything special and I didn't even push. I am working him for a sunshade and toothbar though......more than one way to skin a cat.
To be honest with you, Bob may have a good point. I may very well have had a false inpression of how much more a NH or JD would cost than the MF. In fact, these prices from both dealers may not be all that special. (They seemed pretty good compared to many quotes I see from upper east coast and california on this board) I'm also not the hardest person to sell to. I like to buy from people that make me laugh or I feel I can trust. Both salemen were very nice guys in this respect. I imagine I will have a long relationship with both. (if I keep my 231S)
I will restate that if I was not emphasizing the front end loader, I definately would buy the MF1440. I think it is more tractor for the money. But the loader on the TC class III tractors is just plain fantastic. And with the toothbar weighing 225lbs!!!!......I needed the extra capacity to have loader-fun. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
Today is my 22nd wedding anniversary and it is a good thing my wife is such an incredible sport (woman too) because it was painfully obvious tonight as I prepared the truck and trailer for tomorrows haul that my excitement was NOT about seeing her.
