TC35D Rocker Shaft Removal

Hey all, in the midst of a rebuild on TC35D. Rocker bracket( the cast housing that the rocker shaft and rockers mount on ) got damaged and I need to remove the rocker shaft and rocker arms in order to replace the housing. I cant figure out how to remove the shaft. Service book shows a set-crew, but I can't see anything. There is what appears to be a pin right next to the port where the oil pressure sensor lives. This looks like a locking pin, but its not appearing to be removable without a lot of beating. Anybody done a rocker shaft removal and can offer a solution ? Thanks.

Shaft will only come out from the left side on Shibauras. Index-mark lift arms and ram arm to the shaft for reinstallation to save trial & error when doing so. You may need a puller to remove arms. (Snap rings & spring washers that hold arms on are it) Tap the shaft out gently with a hammer. PM for details, a page or three, etc from WSM.
