Good evening Tractor Forum,
OK, here is my story. At remote site with my TC35 and portable woodmill for some brush clearing and milling walnut trees. Experienced some apparent drop in horsepower with my tractor , down shifted to turtle, seemed to be OK. Later in the day, Tractor would crank but not fire up. Waited and then started up and ran all day without a problem. Next day, plenty of crank but no start.

Pulled filter, drained twice, gravity fill was robust. No problem on fuel flow from tank to filter bowl. No apparent fuel leaks from filter to injectors. Pulled rubber fuel line going into the injector pump/manifold distributor. Cranked motor, fuel flow was pulsing out, not robust, placed thumb over the fuel line end and was able to feel the pulsing pressure of the pump but was able to halt fuel flow with my thumb. By the way, when I disconnected the rubber fuel line going into the injector pump, fuel flowed slowing via gravity. Raised the fuel line a few inches and was able to halt fuel flow. Is this normal?

Cracked injector lines at the cylinders. No air No fuel. I could not find a bleed screw at the injector pump on my TC35DA.

What next? Is it time to buy a new lift fuel pump? Any advise on removal and installation? Does the cam have to be timed?

Anything I am missing. Advise please.

REPLACE LIFT PUMP.. Feed is about 8psi.. shouldn't be able to hold w/ thumb.

Still no start. Getting good fuel flow to injector pump. No fuel at injectors.
Cut off valve is my next focus. Any advice?

You mean the "electric shut off solenoid"?? Good start..
If not that> then the rack is stuck in the injection pump..

Yes
I replaced the solenoid cut off switch
The original switch did not retract the last 1/4 inch
Actually got start and ran for 5 minutes
I tested the cut off switch before install with the power wire on the tractor. All good

Now the wire to the switch is dead? Made sure the switch worked with Hotwire to battery

Will trace solenoid wire tomorrow
Is it on a fuse? Or direct to key switch?

Well, I think this threat is ready to be stored away. Just to let my tractor friends know, the final bug was the electric wire to the fuel cut off switch. Sometime power-sometime no electricity. This intermittent power befuddled me for a while and I bought a new switch-not necessary.
Pulled the dash and cleaned out some mouse nests. Harness looked okay but I have no desire to trace the wire into the harness. So I wired the solenoid fuel cut off switch directly to the battery with inline 5amp fuse and toggle switch. Runs like new.

Congrats for sticking with it.. I had to install an inj. pump at a golf course yesterday.. on a 3 headed mower.
In diagnosing the problem THEY installed an electric supply pump and had the wires "stuck" in the battery terminals..
I asked them if they would like me to hook them up to the "key switch".??
The answer was "NO.. we'll just yank'm when we get done mowing".. Lol..
I'll bet they run thru 12 batteries before "someone" hooks it up to a toggle.. & it woulda taken me 3 minutes to connect it PROPERLY to the key switch.!!!
