TC40 4WD stuck in the mud!

My Deere hoe has a limited slip front axle which helps a lot in some the nasty places I work.
To bad the CUT's don't have it too.

For the difference in price of your Deere hoe and our CUTs, you could probably buy a spare CUT just to keep around to pull out the other one when it got stuck. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

...just couldn't resist poking a little fun at you. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

That is what the Deere SSL is for CUT recovery but the 35D had to pull the SSL out last winter when I got over the icy bank and couldn't get back up.
Luckily or unluckily I haven't ever had one of the CUT's stuck BUT I have had everything else stuck.
A semi truck w/ 40+ton of chicken manure setting on the frame was one of the worst or the D6 w/o winch in the swamp or the hoe in the swamp/peatbog (couldn't lift the front wheels w/ loader it was that soft) and had to use the D4 and D6 to pull it out.
But I used my old Kubota w/ brush hog to mow the swamp/peatbog and never got stuck.

glad u got it out, and the 4wd seems to be working. but looking at that pic. i would have thought for sure it was going to give itself a bath. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif that baby looked very close to going over.

I've finally realized that if I am going to get stuck, it will be at the worst time and at the worst possible place. I once stuck my Ford Jubilee in the edge of a pond while I was mowing. I let the right-front tire slip off the lip of the pond and it sunk down to the axle while the rest of the tractor started crabbing toward the mud. I was in a hurry because it was starting to rain and I wanted to get my mowing fininshed. So there I was, stuck in the edge of a pond with a rain storm starting. All I could think of was my tractor being submerged in water as the rain poured down. Luckily, I got my pickup close enough that I was able to string tow straps and chain to the tractor and pull it out, but for a second I had been in shear panic, thinking about my tractor "drowning" in the pond. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
