TC40 vs JD___? vs. Kubota____?

I was looking a NH TC40 w/FEL for about $20,225. What models should I compare it too in a JD, Kubota, or other brand? The TC40 was a geared machine, with 4wd, and the loader was a 16LA.

Well, if you are looking at a geared machine, the John Deere 4510 is geared only. It comes with the PowrReverser transmission. It is 39 hp. If you want hydro you could go with the 4610 or 4710, 44 and 48 hp respectively. I'll provide the link to the JD 4000 Ten series webpage.

Kubota L3830 or L4330. i paid 16250 for a L3830HST(hydrostic transmission) was quoted 18,00 for the L4330HST. this was with r4 tires and no loader. loader is arround 4000. i thought the rear end housing was a lot heaver on the kubota. look them all over and buy your favorite. was quoted 15,000 on L3830DT 9gear drive)

The JD990 is also worth considering. It is GST only and 40hp. I got mine for around $15k with the FEL.

Take a look at the Century/Bransons.
I've got a Century 3647 with the 47hp Cummins.
That tractor with the FEL can be had for about 17,500.
It's heavy, strong and solid.
