TC40D hydraulic fluid; the real sump quantity

Forgot to mention, there are 3 drain points although the manual only refers to 2. The dealer pointed out there is a 3rd drain on the drop down for the front driveshaft.

Also, Tractorganic mentioned the engine oil sump capacity of his machine is 6 quarts. My T2310 manual specifies the oil required for an oil and filter change is 6 liters or 6.3 US quarts. I would think that they would have the same capacity?

I can tell you how NOT to fill the hydro fluid. It involves tapping two air fittings to the 5 gallon lid, one to drain the fluid and the other to pressurize the 5 gallon container using the air compressor (so the fluid comes out faster). It came out faster all right! My wife still refers to that day as the "dad-saster".
