So, I had it done at the shop and it took 'em less than an hour and was under $50. They did feel a little bad about the clearance issue (chains hit sway bar and broke off a folding plate @ chain end) from their last "fix". I; however, can't figure the difference between what they did with the rims and dishing and just changing them to dished in and they couldn't explain what they did. But I now have 78" wheel base, not the 84.5" the manual cites for R4s dished in,and I can still slide onto my trailer very carefully:thumbsup:
What I can't do is tell anyone how it was done:(. Sure hope they torqued the bolts!
Attached pixs of before and after. Hope you can make sense of 'em
Thanks,
Chris
