Would my TC33D be a class 2 tractor?...Can you be anymore specific on the other changes? I would hate to jump to a competitor and then have the new New Hollands have the features I need.
NYBOB,
Yes, your TC33D is a class 2 compact along with the TC29, TC30, TC31, TC34, and the new T1520.
I wasn't given specifics about the upcoming changes but NH is starting with the class 2 tractors because they are the ones that need it most work done to them in regards to updates.
The dual hydro pedal is a definite change and I think the actual drive system is changing also, perhaps an integral accelerator / hydro pedal and maybe even an automatic range selecting transmission? I can only guess at this point based on some of the feedback I get from NH.
I can tell you that it will be like nothing they have made before. Supposed to stand the market on its head again just like the introduction of the Boomer compact line when it first came out!
Like you, I hate not having all the details because it is exciting and I can hardly wait to see it. I dont like telling buyers to wait but in the same breath I feel obligated to let them know that great things are coming. So thats what I do here. I select the best forum and best group of people to spread the word and stir interest.
Should you buy a competitive line or wait? That of course is entirely your choice. It is your hard earned money and you need to do what is best for your needs and budget. The majors are feeling pressure from the offline brands as they bring better product to the market each year. Kubota is doing great things with their Grand L40 and even our local Kioti dealer is stocking more tractors in anticipation of the spring thaw and buying frenzy.
We continue to be loyal to NH and we carry no other tractor brands at our dealership. How long we can survive staying that course is difficult to say. People like choices and they like to know that they have made the best choice possible given the chores for the tractor and their monthly allotment for payments. I love representing the NH line because they are a forward thinking company and are always in a perpetual state of change for the better. Keeps it fun!
Thanks,
Larry
