Started the tractor today and the tach didn't move. Drove the tractor for about 15 minutes moving some logs, then put it back in the barn. When I switched the tractor off, I thought I saw the tach move. Restarted the tractor and the tach seemed to be working normally.
A couple of weeks ago the tach "stuck" at the starting RPM, but again returned to normal operation after I turned the tractor off and restarted. Before I start taking things apart, does anyone have a suggestion for how to go about finding the issue?
