TC45 Brakes

   / TC45 Brakes #11
I know we have a big difference in tractor size. But my lil tc21d does not nor have the brakes ever made any loud noise.Wether I use them one at time to help turn or together. With less than 200hrs.So maybe its just the way they are set up,or the brand(pads/rotors) NH uses on the larger compacts...I just whish NH would set the brakes up like Kubota does. When in cruise mode I can only brake steer to the right. The left one cuts out the cruise.I don't use it often but when hogging around the few trees in the pasture it would be nice to be able to go around the trees in either direction nice and tight...O well can't have it all.....Ya'll enjoy...

Paul,

Maybe the left brake killing the cruise is another difference between the larger and smaller Boomers. When cruise is set on a TC40D you can use the left brake or the right brake without killing the cruise. If both[/] brakes are pressed then cruise is killed. Tried it the other night just to verify. It seems that when NH introduced the larger Boomer series that they made several little changes to the design. It would be nice if they would also change the smaller Boomers.
