Some of you guys are out of control. Front wheel assist has captured the majority of the agricultural tractor market only over the last 20 years. Prior to that, and in MANY instances yet today, 2WD units get their jobs done effectively. I maintain and plow my driveway which has steep slopes and curves with a Ford 4000 and Case 885 both of which are equipped with chains and proper ballast. You have to be smarter than what you are driving. Mark has done his homework and identified his needs and budget. Most compact tractors need to be 4wd because they don't have the rear weight to be effective as 2wd units. Utility and rowcrop tractors are not saddled with that liability. If Mark buys a 2wd TN to replace his old 3600 my bet is he will be thrilled. If he replaces his 3600 with a 4wd TC, he won't.
