I'm considering buying a TC 48. Anybody have any experience with them? I know they've only been on the market for 2-3 years and am wondering how they've been from a reliability/quality point of view? Any recurring problems? Anything you like/dislike about it?

I've read a few threads here about the 18LA loader being able to lift so much that it's easy to pick up the rear of the tractor without lots of counterweight, but other than that, anything a new owner should know about this model?

Thanks.

Andy

I`ve had my TC48 for almost two years and no major problems.Bucket was acting strange a few weeks ago, would not maintain down pressure when back dragging possibly stuck in float mode but, was only a one day incident. The loader is realy stout as you spoke of requires a lot of counter weight. My tires are not loaded.Things I use for ballast are my BB720 around 1,200 lbs when lifting realy heavy loads, the rear tires never lift. The 6ft heavy duty box blade for the lighter things though can easily cause the rear to get light if too much weight in loader.Oh get the grill guard I somehow busted a headlight without it.Guard spaceing could be a little closer a limb sneaked in through the guard and caved the grill in last week( bent back into shape and put back in place). Over all a great tractor I`ve got no complaints.
