Oil & Fuel TC55 "real" fuel capacity

I ran mine a little too long when I first brought it home. It had been on the "empty" mark for probably an hour or more. When I took the cap off to fill it up, I could see the bottom of the fuel tank. It was almost completely out. It took nearly 13 gallons to fill it up.

OK - with that my curiousity is now satisfied ....

I ran mine down low once and the gauge didnt respond to movement it took 12 gal to fill it up. Most of the time i havn't put over 8 or 9 gal in it at any one time.

i ran my tc33d out of fuel a few times and i just shut it off quick when she starts to run out and after i fill it up she starts up everytime without bleeding. It sputters for a few seconds but it takes off. Just get it off quick!!

The newer ones with electric charge pumps aren't bad. On my 7610s, you just turn a thumb screw with the key on till fuel bubbles, then tightent he screw.. and you are good to go... On my older 5000.. you gotta sometimes get the wrenches out to bleed the lines.. and the battery charger too.. if it feels like being stubborn..

i ran mine the other day down past the empty below the marks completely and it took about 10 gallons. I thought i was on fumes it was so low. I got 100 hours on it now.
