TD7E winch issue

Have a Gearmatic winch on a Td7e, drum spins in when tractor goes forward/ out in reverse. Does anybody live in the Ct area that痴 familiar with these winches? If easier call 860-798-4039. Thanks

I don't have a TD7, but on my dozer, the pto runs clock wise when going forward and counter clock wise when in reverse.

IF I had a winch on it, it would do the same thing yours is doing...

I’m sorry, I was cutting today and noticed that winch drum spins in in both directions. The master cylinder is in the hold position so it shouldn’t be spinning at all until you winch in
