TD950 engine

Can someone help here me?
I have Kioti TD950 but the engine has worn out, is the driving force
behind Kubota D950 appropriate?

No.... Kubota and Kioti do not have the same engines, they are not related. Your saying that you have a TD950, that is the make of the enigne. I take it that you have a Kioti LB1914? Or LB1714??

The engine is broke , and now they want to sell me a d950 Kubota engine , the guy says its fits in a Kioti LB1914

You'd do better to order a new engine from Kioti. It's cheaper to buy new than to rebuild. While the Kubota engine may "fit," they are not the same engine.

I'd 2nd what KiotiJohn says. buy the Kioti, it comes with a warranty too.. and your not going to have to rig up any linkages or hoses like what you would have to do on another engine... don't risk it, get the kioti. Let me know if you have any questions.

I'd like to go a little further and say that you probably do not need to replace that engine. Usually, it can be repaired for less money. You don't say what's wrong with the engine, but usually, most parts don't need to be replaced. If it's truly shot, then buying a new Kioti engine is the way to go. I'd get a diesel mechanic to look at it first though because you may be able to repair what you have for much less.
