TD95D Hydraulic Return Question & Load Shaft Seals

Purchased a post pounder(old, old, old Shaver) and without purchasing a new valve for use on our closed center JD I am going to use on the NH for time being. Is the dipstick/fill hole the easiest or only place for the return line?

For the load shaft seals, can the assembly just be unbolted and dropped from the tractor to make removal easier? On JD there is room to work. NH planetaries are in the way. Repair manual is of no help.

I don't have my service manual available but I think the fill hole with the dipstick is the only one I am aware of. It is rather small for a return line. Look around on the top of the rear axle area to see if there is one there. Otherwise talk to the service people at your local NH dealer. You might also look at the parts catalog at Messicks.
