Teamwork or Play-date

A friend of mine heard I was spreading some stone and stopped by to help. My wife thinks it was some sort of big boy tractor play date /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif. Complete overkill for amount of work to be done but sure was fun. I'm the one in the foreground with the silly grin.

Where in Conn are you located? There's several of us TBNers in the Woodstock, Union area. And yes we've been know to have play dates too. We usually don't operate in such tight quarters though....Looks like Bumper Tractor Ouch

I'm in Cheshire, which might be a bit too far to bring my tractor, but I'd definitely bring myself, and a banana bread (or beer). It was tight in there but we each took a bay and sort of met in the middle. While he was at my place he dug a trench for me to drain out some low spots. It's nice having a friend with a backhoe /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif. And he has me to do any 3 pt work he might ever need. What better friend to have than a friend with a tractor? Let me know when the next gathering is, it would be great to meet you guys.

Too bad we can't get them all in one place... my place for example. We could have a contest and see who can get to my process pile, load up, and get back to the drop area the quickest. Might as well have you drop the process while you're there... Hmm, elimination rounds, and of course the final round. The down side is that I'd get my whole pile of gravel moved... oh well, I'll make the sacrifice all in the name of fun, /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

My place is up for grabs too. Larry and I have been estimating how many rocks we need to move to put in my 1600 foot drive. We stopped counting at 4 million rocks I think. Some are as large as Volkswagon Bugs. I got the Hitachi excavator just to move some of them and dig the foundation. Every tiem I look at the pictures you guys post of beautiful farms without stone walls, all I think is can't be New England. My farm is in the area that was last to be developed in Conn. That's because the land was too bad to farm. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

Hopefully Steve. It's done just waiting for the AC to be recharged. It's amazing what they found. Somebody building my TN just forgot to put an O ring behind the input shaft of the trans. Looking forward to meeting you soon.
