My Tecumseh Vector gasoline lawnmower motor on seems to have problems with hot weather. It will mow all day in the cool weather but after 20 minutes of >80 degrees it just stalls. It will not restart unless it sits for five minutes, or if I pump the primer 4-5 times. Then it will run for another two minutes and stall again. I can go all day with this pumping/running/stalling, but there must be a better fix.

Sound like you have a vapor lock, which creates a vacuum in your gas tank that your fuel delivery system cannot offset. Your mower is basically fuel-starved. Next time it stalls, trying opening your gas cap, and see if you get "that sucking sound." If so, you'll want to drill a very small vent hole in the top of your gas cap. This will allow your mower to draw-in air to replace the fuel, as it is utilized - problem solved. :D
