Hi JW587 yes that was one of my thoughts to get it out then i would put back in and grind it off because theres a square plate that goes on to run the front hyd pump and not sure how long the bolt is,not a lot of room there ,but thanks for that
They work pretty well on rounded bolt heads, but there's always the chance you snap the head off no matter what you do. Then you're going to have to weld a nut onto the broken bolt and back it out while its still hot from the weld.
As others have mentioned, you could try and weld on a nut on top of the rounded bolt head, then back it out. Be sure and clean out that area first to avoid a fire. Then have your wrench handy and try and remove it as soon as possible after the weld. The heat will penetrate the bolt and it should come free. Good luck and let us know how it goes.
Trick #2 is if you can while the bolt threads are hot from welding, melt birthday candle wax on them.
Don't try to drip the wax, place it against the part thread area and let it melt the wax.
