JD 4410
I just got my new 4410 delivered. i ordered telescoping draft arms on it. i haven't used them yet, but can tell by just looking at them that they will be a godsend when hooking up implements. i always struggled on my father's Ford 3000. These ought to save alot of time.

I've attached close-up pictures so people can look at them.

I agree with you EdwardB. I had them added to my 4410. I now have 11 hours on the tractor, have used them twice and love them.

NH sales them as standard equipment on their tractors JD should do the same but I know they are trying to push the I-Match.

I knew they would be a good idea - so I'm having them added right from the beginning on my 4710 (get to visit it this afternoon at the dealer!). Does anyone know if the 'field options' price for the telescoping arms when you have the tractor delivered that way is an upgrade price, or simply the parts price? In other words - should I expect to also get the regular draft arms loose with my tractor?

( Edit - never mind - just answered my own question. 'Upgrade' cost is $240 or $245. Straight parts price on these arms are $210 each.)

I have been pondering getting some to replace the stock ones on my Cub.

When I ordered my 4710 last year, I was going to order the telescoping draft arms at that time. The salesman told me to get them after I took delivery of the tractor because I would get both sets of arms for the same price. I paid $200.00 for the telescoping arms after I took delivery. This is the same price I would have paid at the time I ordered the tractor, but I would not have gotten the OEM arms.

When I was looking for a CUT, only the Deluxe, e.g., TC25D, came with the telescoping draft arms. They are great! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

True, only the Deluxe NH have them. I would consider my 4410 with eHydro, 4wd (standard) and the upgraded cruise and speed macth would constitute a deluxe model. I guess JD wants the extra $200. Well worth the money though and I aint gonna complain about my tractor. I LOVE IT!!
