Thanks all. It certainly feels good to be validated on this purchase especially when there are so many additional ways to spend money on implements/attachments/accessories.
The telescoping links do have standard Cat 1 sockets. I will take some pictures and measure them when they come in and let you know what length they are. JD makes two versions of these. The 4310 has two types of stabilizer bars, horizontal and vertical. The welded ears that attach the stabilizers are different to accomodate the two types of stabilizers. Consider how you are going to attach the stabilizers to your unit. They are also not a straight link which may pose another problem fitting them. Hopefully the pix and measurements will make this clear. If the 4310 links don't work maybe the 5000 series one might. They are also stock on the newer Kubota Grand L series and some Kioti and possibly Branson and NH units.
As far a expectations on parts pricing,,,,, I paid alot less than $20,000 for this unit. I got a rock bottom price. My dealer provides me with a lot of value added service at no charge. I don't feel that he owes me special pricing for parts. If that had been a priority for me I would have asked for it when negotiating the purchase. Dealers use different incentives to gain and keep customers. My guy gives you the "deal" up front.
