tell me about NH skid steers

smaller ones, 150's, 160's, 170's or so

used to run lots of them back in the early and mid-90's, but not much since.
thinking of adding manure removal to the biz, best way is with a SS.

I will do a search for the video of the ASV - where they blow away the competition as far as balance, power, etc. It’s amazing. Granted it's a promo video for ASV, but they show all the competitors do the exact same task and fall on their face.

This is the Cadillac of current track loaders. They leave a very light footprint, check out the sight and look at the TURF edition.

Also they have built this unit from the ground up for the track in mind, others like CAT have converted their wheeled units to a track unit.

I'm currently looking at the 85 or vertical lift, it has a lift of 4K.

i have heard good things about the newer new hollands. i checked out a used 120 and was very impressed. haven't got any real seat time in any that are larger but they would definitly be on my list if shopping for one.

I think the 170's kick butt. I have seen them locally do all sorts of landscaping, etc. A few years ago I was considering the purchase of one for my landscaping business but things didn't pan out. I like the lower center of gravity, the dump reach to dump heigth, and lift capacity, all seems to be a winner in my book. Put some tracks on it and it should be a versitile unit.

A mulch supplier uses 180's to move full pallets of mulch around, the rear end gets light (not weighted) but handles the wet bags of mulch fearlessly (approx 2250lbs- 45 bags @ 50#/ea).
