Back in the market for a new tractor. Need 55-70 HP, open station, loader and a power shuttle would be nice. I have looked at the 6530 and it seems like a good utility tractor. Is there something better out there? I do not want a "compact", must be a utility and have planetary front drive. I am pulling a 8 foot twin blade heavy duty rotary mower and 3 bottom 16" plows. Price is a factor!

I wish I still had 6530s available. Even thought the 5570 has been a great replacement and much easier on the ears. 6530 has a lot of rattle and isn't uncommon for a fuel line to start leaking or finding a bolt or two rattle loose within the first 50hours... its always tinkering little things with them for the first few hours of operation... they got the big picture figured out and its one big beastly machine.. always liked the 00, 30 and now 5500 series tractors.. you will too

no problems with my 5530 (6530's little (middle) brother) I Highly recommend this series of tractor.

just watch out for the little hydraulic line at the bottom of the transfer case. mine bent(not broke yet) either by knocking down trees,or shredding down, south Texas brush.

it could use a little more comfortable seat. mine has sat out in the south Texas elements since I've owned it (since 2010 and 330 hours) and the only thing that it does to keep it from being perfect is

: tach sticks to rest pin on hot days.(tap the lower section of gauge cluster
and it is fine the rest of use time.)When you start it.

: shifting in and out of 4wd is tough most of the time.

: shifting gears can be hard to do, if you if don't let the transmission spool down.

: clutch gets heavy after doing alot of loader work.(won't need leg day afterwards).
It is what I wanted after all. Tough no nonsense Tractor.

I chose this tractor after looking at many others in my are.,I knew that it would sit out in the elements, and be used hard. It has not dissapointed me as a strong ag utility tractor.

I don't know how I got by, without it. It's my go to piece of equipment.

No problem here with my 4530 (6530's baby brother) Stout no nonsense full size utility tractor. I pull a 8 ft dual spool brush hog all day long with no problem..I have also used my neighbors 10 ft with no problems(had to slow down a bit in heavy stuff) I have been more than pleased with the performance of my machine..
Regard's
Sean

Not Texas, Cuba, NY is south of Buffalo, NY. First oil in US at Seneca Oil Springs and the price of Cheddar Cheese was set in Cuba 100 years ago. Aren't you glad you ask!!!

I have the 6530 just put in 40 hours in 3 days plowing with a 3/16 and disking. It is a nice tractor and i don't have any complaints its strong and very comfortable and yes you will need hearing protection when working it.
