Thanks for all the help. I took the wire off the sensor and grounded it with the key on. The needle pegged all the way to hot. Looks like I need to head over to the JD dealership and get a Temp.sensor.

Wouldn't it be possible to swap it to a manual gauge? I changed one on my International utility a few years ago when it went out. Bought a kit at Tractor supply, came with all kinds of adapters--looked like it would work on about anything, think I paid about $25 for it.

No, in fact it would be easy. I'm thinking I'd like to add an oil pressure guage and amp meter to my setup. So when I take the cab off and rebuild it, I'll probably do that.

A cab set up would be easy to add guages to, but the stock dash is really small. There's room for a switch or two, but not much more. especially if you want to be able to watch the guage while operating.
