And here I have been lead to believe that when the coolant level get's low, the sensor is left high and dry without a clue, and so shows nothing unusual.
And when it does show hot, that indicates the metal is good and truly cooked! Too late......

I suppose it's like real estate values...Location, location, location. ;-)

I don't think I have a recovery tank, atleast I haven't noticed it, if I had one seems so it would be on the radiator and if I do have one, I never checked it.

The HST model does have a recovery tank on them, maybe you can add one to your DT.

Been about 3 weeks, and as of right now my coolant is at the top of radiator, I would think it would have a fill tank on it but all there is, is a hose going down side of the motor. I did put some stop leak in the front end a few weeks ago, maybe that helped. At-least I know my temp gauge is working.
