Terrible way to end school year

That is crazy. I would be in big trouble then. I don't even have gravel on my driveway...just sand /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Sounds like Communism to me.

Yeah, I found out about it the hard way. I worked third shift and the wife worked first shift. A one lane drive so I would park beside the drive and then move my car after she went to work. Saw a cop one morning putting a ticket on my car in my yard!!! The bad thing is that the metro cops drove their cruisers home and one up the street parked on his lawn. very poor example.
I am certain he got no ticket.

This was 15 years ago, I checked ordances and was ready to gravel my entire front yard, but my company transferred me to NC before I could do that /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

There is not any private property anymore. We just all lease it from the govt. Don't believe that just don't pay your property taxes /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

I see that lexington and Dallas must have joind the "People Republic of California", as it subscribes to their diminished set of citizens rights and liberties.

( Heres one for ya. In Lexington KY, you cannot park on your own lawn. A metro cop will come up in your yard and write you a ticket.
You must be parked on a paved drive or gravel. No parking on the grass even on your own "private" property. )

There is one stupid law we don't have but I wish we did. My tenant had a party last week and several cars parked on a newly seeded (baby grass) area of my lawn. The rest of the cars. were blocking the driveway and my grandmother had to walk. I have another parking area at the end of the driveway. But they didn't want there guests to have to walk that far in the heat. Mind you the driveway is 75 feet wide by the house. It was fine for my grandmother to almost get stuck and have to walk the 550 ft from The lower parking area.

Yes I blew my top.

I am thinking of installing some type of spike strips.

My brother in law can not stay on the pavement neither can several other people.

Yes spike strips and I will start stocking tires to sell at premium prices.

The whole story isn't thier. A tractor passing a atv at high speed. I have the feeling thier was some horse play and the tractor wasn't in gear coasting faster than it should ever go.

High rate of speed is subjective.

But I would also dare to assume that the tractor was freewheeling down a hill.

I have yet to see a tractor pass an ATV. Even very small (children's) ATV's will go 30 mph. I am no expert but I would think that most ATV's top out in the 40-70 MPH range depending on model.

How many tractors go this fast?????? In gear.

I can safely say that my tractor at 20-24mph ( MAX ) goes plenty fast.. I wouldn't want ot to go faster... /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif In fact.. I like to run right about 18mph when roading it.. and that's pretty much all I am comfortable with.
