Congratulations on a BEAST of a tractor. Should make easy work for your chores. I have never priced anything so large.....I wonder what they went for new. At any rate, sounds like you made a good deal based on blue book value. You going to get her checked out at a local Dealership or are you going to tinker yourself ??

The current owner lives about 3 miles from the Case dealer, and I live about 2 miles from them. He bought the tractor from this dealer and they have done all the servicing on it. I talked to them and some others about it, and they all seemed to think highly of the machine. So, I felt like I was getting a quality piece of equipment.

As for the mechanical, I typically do my own work on our vehicles, so if it isn't that BIG of a job I will takle it myself.

As for the pictures, just have to finalize our financing with farm credit, before I take it home.

Good choice of tractors,at a great price. Burnet's are good to deal with,Ambrose in particular. Is George Whalen still there as a salesman? From your pic you are south of the ridge,out of town on the mall end I'd say.

And, yes, thats me with the big smile on my face... And for scale purposes I am 6'2" tall. As for the specs. 1988 Case 885xl 72" quick attach bucket, 86" Normand snow blower with 3-way adjustable chute. Which means it has 3 rear remotes.

Tractor sure is in gooood shape for 88 & am jealous of Cab & SnowBlower. I think I'd be beaming too.
