No Junkman, but we used to run a 63 Chev Impala hearse.
In fact it was our first hearse in the family business as it now exists.
The real first hearse (gas powered) that my grandfather used to use was a 39 Buick, but before that it was a horse & cart job!

Buzz.

Wow, makes me cry. I had a blue 69 GTO. Hiding headlights and factory air conditioning. 400 with a full time 4 barrel. Automatic Hurst shifter on the floor. What I would do to have it back today. Sold in back in the late 70's and two days later the guy that bought it totalled it.

Like I said I want to cry.

Nice thing about Google images is you can go back and see pictures of your old rides. Like this one:

That's funny, you don't see too many with the hide away headlights. Put some big tires on the back, Keystone Mags with air shocks and you got it pretty close.

Almost makes you want to be young again?? /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Remember the 1974 GTO's? By then, the GTO was an option package on the Ventura...
Nothing but a Chevy Nova with GTO name tags on the sides! /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif Kinda like when Plymouth brough back the Duster name on a four door Sundance in the 1990's! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Thats perfect. I recommend that you use the highest resolution and least compression that your camera will allow. Then use the software that came with the camera to make it smaller and compress it to the right size. The reason is if the picture is a keeper, you will want to have it in all its glory. Easy to cut down, but you can't make a good high-res picture out of a low-res picture.

I'm getting so many reasons to want to be young again I don't need any more!

A guy I worked with started out on an odyssey to find his old '69 Camaro. It took a long time and but he tracked it down in the next state over. He even made the TV news. Oh, and the guy who owned it took full advantage of his negotiatng position...

Hey Junkman, speaking of Corvairs, I just saw this one will be at an auction in this area on Monday...

There will be a couple of other things there I wouldn't mind buying if I had room to store them and if the wife would let me bring them home...

If that car is solid, I sure would love to have it. Unfortunately, I already have more cars than I have time to save and adding one more to the collection just isn't an option. All it will do is make one more to be liquidated when I pass on, because I doubt that I will finish restoring all that I presently have.
