I hear ya, we had another 4-5 last night. Even with a snowblower it takes a disciplined mind to keep the driveway at it's original width. I'm thinking I'll get the 790 out again tonight and do some bank cleanup work. My wife called yesterday to say there was something in the neighborhood that made our tractor look puny... turned out to be a county front loader (Cat). They did the culdesacs, but have yet to really plow the roads. Of course, the road in front of our house is nicely cleared /w3tcompact/icons/tongue.gif I was reluctant to get out the 790 last night as it was pretty cold. I've been paranoid about fuel gelling, though no one I've talked to around here has ever had a problem.
Still lot's of schools closed here. Ours are running 2 hour delay mostly due to the busses having trouble in the subs. Not a problem for us, our oldest is in PM kindergarten.
They said after Monday's snow we've had 25 inches season-to-date. Last year was 2" at the same time. They went on to say that this year is right on target for our "average" winter though. We've all gotten soft in the last couple of years I guess.
One more thing... get the FEL! It's one of the handiest implements. I used one years ago on an Orange tractor without PS and it worked.
