Foreman, you can brush it on or use a paint mitt. When I do pipe, I usually use paint brush and old T shirt while wearing those rubber dish gloves. Sometimes you need to do 2 coats if it has scaly rust, but I have only had to do that once or twice, it's great stuff.

You could paint it yourself in an afternoon, either use a paint mitt and brushes, or re
nt/borrow one of them wagner sprayers.

It will take me awhile to get the different pens and chute system done on the inside. That would be a lot of brush or paint mitting, think buying a wagner sounds good.

Foreman, I dont think I would spray the OSPHO, I think you would get allot of waste. Paint sure.

With that much beer, maybe the guys could talk you into "speaker dancing" again!

I pity the speaker I try to dance on now. I think speaker dancing's time has long past. Besides, we will be too busy watching you do your rain dance. Jinman has a few trees to dance around.
hugs, Brandi

bindian; A woman is as old as she feels! (And a man's not old, until he quits feeling!)

I'm sure no one wants me to get the party rained out!

I think you may come out WAYY cheaper getting some OSPHO and treating then painting it yourself. We sandblast and on the cheap, it starts @ $4 ft.
OSPHO is great stuff. I have used it for over 20 years probably. Ospho Rust Treatment - Since 1947

I dont think I'd do anything to the chute other than some paint.

I would second using Ospho. We did pipe fence with a mitt. But my first choice would be painting it with Hammerite. That is some really good stuff. But it's thick so brushing or a mitt is about the only way to apply it.

Does outdoor paint spraying in Texas automatically start the wind blowing on the calmest of days?
It sure does up here:)

I talked my wife into staining a ruff oak board fence down at the gate a few years ago with a Wagner.
It was black oil stain. By the time she was done her shirt, shorts, socks, shoes, blonde hair, and skin were all black.
It took a long time to get her cleaned up and she burned the clothes.
Ever since she has used a long nap roller and brush for outdoor painting.:D

A couple years ago we painted my mother in laws front porch. The wife went to Home Depot and bought an 18 volt Ryobi sprayer. When painting overhead it splattered some. When painting horizontally it did pretty good.

Lou, is her name Sheila? Maybe you called her by the wrong name and that's why she was confused?
