That's got me worried although I do have the advantage of distance, about 7400 miles. You never know you might get that excavator going fast enough to get it off the ground but you would then have a problem with in-flight refueling. ;)

No problem there...........I can get a fill up on a Navy carrier:rolleyes:................or fly any airline on passes since I work for an airline.

Oh yeah................welcome to the Texas thread!

The Navy carrier could be a problem. Since our gubbermint declared us to be nuclear-free the there wont have been a carrier within thousands of miles of us. And as far as flying, how are you going to stuff your excavator into the overhead lockers. Photo please.

Thanks for the welcome. I've been subscribed but lurking for years.

These carriers are conventional, not nuclear............ America (LHA-6) Wasp (LHD-1) Essex (LHD-2) Kearsarge (LHD-3) Boxer (LHD-4) Bataan (LHD-5) Bonhomme Richard (LHD-6) Iwo Jima (LHD-7) Makin Island (LHD-8)
Carriers in reserve
Kitty Hawk (CV-63) Reserve until Gerald R. Ford is commissioned:thumbdown:
or CVN to mininum range, then heloed to a surfaced diesel electric sub and snuck in.

I can fly any airline. Cargo airlines included. No problem there, but the excess baggage fee would be a killer. I'd have to work that off in mx trade.:( Probably cheaper to rent a 20 foot container and just ship it on the surface.;) Watch your back.:):)

There is another factor. Back in 1984 when our gubbermint (in its infinite wisdom) came up with its nuclear-free policy it also announced its decision to ban ships that were either nuclear-powered or -armed. (USS Buchanan) The US has a policy to ‘neither confirm nor deny’ the presence of nuclear weapons on any of their warships and this led to a stalemate. So from 1984 until Nov last year no US navel vessel of any sort has been near here.

But that is getting too, too, too serious.

If you wanted to just fly in I could offer the loan of a shovel and offer my bike to maroon. But it is the middle of summer and the ground is very hard. :D

(I have a friend who has similar flying privileges but after spending 11 hours on the jump seat in the cockpit of a 380 (or similar) from Hong Kong to Auckland she was not so enthused.)

Congrats Lou! With your wife having lots of gas and Y'all getting lots of rain, maybe you could sign her up for swim lessons to wear her out.

Ding dang it. I recorded the game and am watching it now. Took a break to check weather.com and just had to stop and read this thread. Why, o why did I do that? But the win is a good thing. Clowney and Merciless are taking up JJ's slack! Can you say??????????????........way to juggle,...Clowney!

None of this even matters.
Nobody is getting past the Cowboys.
Just joking guys, wouldn't it be great to finally see an all Texas Super Bowl played in Texas?

If the Texans make it to the Super Bowl, the fact they will go down into history as the first team to play a Super Bowl in their home stadium.............................would over shadow the fact they are playing the C Boys.

Do Y'all think the Texans have a chance to beat Brady and the Pats? Who do Y'all think Tea Kettle will start as QB against the Pats?

They always have a chance, who's the other qb besides osweiler?

Tom Savage. He replaced Brock 3 games back. Last game he got injured. Came back in for one play before the half, then was out the 2nd half for concussion protocols. He has an arm twice as strong and more accurate then Brock's. He's only started two NFL games, I think.
