If spring is not here the wild plum trees here are fooled.

Looks like your plum tree is about to be in bees-ness. Don't you know the bees in your area will be out early this year since last year there was so dry that nothing was blooming and they couldn't find much pollen.

I didn't catch what the high was today, but it was short sleeves by 8am. I think I would have got hot if it wasn't for the 30mph gust and steady 15-20 mph winds.

I was working at the church on the tractor, then a neighbor asked me to cut him an entrance to his shop to the highway, I bet my hat blew across the road 4 times today.

The wind has been a real bear for the last couple of days. Had to go to Hughes Springs yesterday and that wind was blowing us all over the road. Maybe it will dry out the garden a little so I can get in there.

Bird- I've got Pin Oaks that are starting to leaf-out, and a lot of others are budding.

I didn't lose my hat, but I got my face sandblasted a bunch from blowing sand. All-in-all, it was the perfect day for gettin' outside stuff done.

Jim, thats the truth! I was fortunate that the dirt I was moving was fairly damp, so no blowing.

Small leaves every where on the softwoods, my Oaks are swelling on the branch tips, so not to long now. I did see a few Plum, pear and even a couple of peach trees starting to wake up too. The Pears looked like they had started to bloom.

93 degrees yesterday. I started having flashbacks of last summer, the 90 days over 100 and up up to 112. Today the norther blew in and in the A. M. it is 54. I can pretend its summer up north for a few more days.

Sounds like you better get your driveway project done soon, before it gets to hot!

Jim, I think the rains came at just the right times. Here the other small wild flower plants are plentiful and looking healthy, by May it should be quite a showing.
