6.73" Saturday, ~ 1" Sunday and raining pretty hard at 5am this morning just south of Kountze. I'm really begining to think I should have bought an airboat instead of a tractor.

Around 7.25 inches here. At 4:30, rain was still falling out of the trees.

I wonder if it is ever going to rain again we got over 8 inches of sunshine so far, wait, we don’t measure sunshine is inches, do we? Those on both side of me, got ten inches or more of sunshine.. Lucky ones.. smile.. next week we going to get some rain with highs in the 40s.. I’m thinking beach and surfing, anyone with me?..

My unfinished pond on November 26th..............
I rushed to get the core of the dam in before the forecasted flood.
and here it is after just 4 inches of downpour last Saturday morning, Dec. 3rd........
The yellow buckets and the water pump are in the same place on the dam in both photos. My idea worked, in moving the dam to bring in more water, but my eye ball level was off, as the water level is past my neighbors fence.
Which she said is okay, but I don't like.

Thanks for all that Snowback. But I don't need all that to know we are gonna have a hard winter. My trees have dumped an acorn crop you can tip toe through. It is thick.
