barely, it's been down to freezing every morning since Monday.

Yep, we’ve been starting out 33-34 all week, still better than the week before. Got to test heater in my new tractor.

Been in Angel Fire, New Mexico and Southfork, Colorado last 5 days. Got down to -15.

We got as cold last year (2017). I was hoping my grapefruit was going to recover and produce in 2018. It seems to have held up, but we did get a very hard freeze.

I hope it got cold enough this year to kill off a lot of bugs. I've been enjoying several 'bug free' days lately.

Already seen activity on fire ant mounds....

Mosquitoes don't care whether it's cold or not, as long as it's not frozen. Alaska has horrible biting insect periods.

I was working on some fence lines today and kicked over some old fire ant mounds and nothing at all. They must have been deep.

My mounds are empty also. They have gone deep.
