I didn't know that. Guess he is nearer to hospitals as he wanted.
hugs, Brandi

Yep Brandi that was one of the big reasons. After taking 2 hrs to get to the hospital out here you suddenly realize the risk. Just moments ago got off the phone from the century study. They have been tracking my heart disease the last 5 years and test result from the PET scans show no progression. Heart disease can really be controlled by diet.

Thanks for the update. I remember back then that was a big problem at that time in the morning. Getting to Austin ER in a fast, safe manner.

Hope Y'all are liking this weather. Been raining all last night and this morning. 54 degrees here right now. Reminds me more of Jan/Feb. hog hunting weather than any Oct. weather.
hugs, Brandi

Round two starts tonight, the Llano is expected to crest at 40', the first time since 1935 and the second highest in recorded history. The lakes will flood all over again.

Horrible flooding. Watched boats, jet skis, boat docks and plenty of flotsam and jetsam go over Max Starkey dam.

I'm at 26.58 inches of rain September + October to date at my house.

Drove over the Pedernales and the Colorado yesterday on Hwy 281. Both were raging massive movements of water. Just amazing.

I know, I watched the live coverage yesterday, it was truly amazing. Fortunately, late last night they announced there would not be a second crest, so now we just have to let it drain down. Travis is at 697, it has risen almost 40' in the last 30 days. We had a little less rain than you, around 15" in the past month.
