I hope everyone has warmed up, thawed out and nobody suffered burst pipes in the weather recently!

Good time to remind everyone:

Daughter left right before freeze to be with my ex for Christmas. I told her I would come over and shutoff the water and open all faucets. The day she came back home, I closed all faucets and turned the water on. Everything was fine and sprewing mineral deposits out. But the fancy gooseneck (with flexible squirter) kitchen faucet clogged up so bad, nothing ran out. I shut those valves, removed the lines and cleaned out all I could find. Put the lines back on and open the shutoff valves and the cold water valve started dripping out the stem. I put a bucket under it turned that cold valve off. Then daughter came home. She has home warranty and it covered the faucets. I told her to shut off the water at bedtime. She did that. When the plumber came out, the kitchen shutoff valve broke in his hand when he opened the valve. In all, they replaced two valves and cleaned out the fancy gooseneck faucet.
My daughter asked what to do about the hard water deposits in the hot water heater. I said nothing for now, other than draining it and refilling. I said the hot water heater will tell you when it needs to be replaced........and went home.
hugs, Brandi

Hope you have a Happy New Year Brandi and crew!

Rebecca rented the Manor house out and moved back here to put Chloe in a Christan School, because the Austin 2nd grade teacher wouldn't let Chloe say God or Jesus in class. They moved back August 2021. Chloe is 9 now and in the 4th grade.

She put that house on the market the day before the fed raised interest rates. Since the house was about 8 or 9 miles north of the new Telsa plant, she just sold it and closed last Tuesday. She almost doubled her money.
