We have had severe drought in 2011 and this year and have lost quite a few trees. Biggest problem is surrounding neighbors, who don't have a clue and have had several of their dead trees fall across our fences. I usually have to kiss their behinds to get permission to take our big tractor on their side to lift their trees off of our fence. Have given several of them warnings that dead trees are ready to fall a and leaning our way and their typical response is that "they want to leave their places in natural state".

Glad we bought the grapple.

Looked like it was fixin' to rain all day yesterday, but nary a drop, and the humidity was 100% all day. Got up this morning about 0400 and was surprised with a light rain and it's suppose to be here with us all day......just what we need....a good soaking.

What happens when you have more than 8 beers? Do you add another branch to the tree?

I love the old shed you are sitting in front of it reminds me of the outbuildings that were on my grandparents place.

Ouch! don't brand that foot till you have had another 8.

Still having intermittent light rain. No run off for the ponds but a wonderful soaking. We are at 1.9" for the last 3 days and it looks like it will continue for another 3 days.

I kind of feel bad being an orange guy for so long now I have to stop by the JD parts for a new battery for my new (to me) Z mower. I better leave my Kubota cap in the truck.
