Suppose to go to the beach house this afternoon,, Our second oldest son is having a bbq,, so I will be drinking free beer with my meal.:licking:. Have to be on my good behavior,, He has a lot of old people that are clients that he invite,, He said for some reason they always want to know is your dad going to be there.. So I guess that why I got an invitation.. old people like me.:confused3:.
We talk about the weather and how dry it is and if frogs had wings they wouldn't bump there,, you know.. It start at two and end sometime tomorrow.. I have to be home by dark,, My wife won't drive after dark and I won't drive after I been drinking.. At least for three hours.. a rule I have.. and I am not going to set around for three hours with a bunch of old drunks and not have a drink.:laughing:. Lou

Brandi, when I was young, a "crook" in a tree was good. Now as I get older, comfort is good!! I'd rather be comfortable and not see nuthin:laughing:

Dad always built me more because he was afraid I would fall out. I did have a forked tree once that had a 1x12 braced between the forks and I leaned back against the tree. That was pretty comfortable.......but still fell asleep until that baby bobcat screamed at me..........when it was still dark. You know the time......when staring where a noise came from...........you start seeing dark blobs move in the darkness. Which just makes you stare harder. I had nails to hang stuff on. But if you dropped anything..........you left it until after the hunt or got down with the moving dark blobs. I always carried a backup flashlight!

My wife and I made it to the party,, there were a lot of people I didn't know most of them,, But they knew me before I left,, and I know most of them now.. We had a good time.. Really nice bunch.. Glad I went..
We were setting around shooting the breeze and believe me the wind was blowing,, I was telling them about the great discover I made on Canadian whiskey and Halloween candy.. So we took my granddaughter basket of candy that she had worked hard for and decided to steal a few pieces.. I would like to thank my son for having fully furnished liquor bar.. free I might add.. Some of our discovers,, Disaronno and Reeses pieces,, John Walker double black and Butterfinger or Jack Daniels and Milkway.. I had already invented twix and Candian misty,, Jim Bean and crumy,, but Chivas and tootsie roll forget that one,:thumbdown:, too much chewing involved.. Crown Royal gold with chocolate chip cookies.. hum,,hum.. I will be sick tomorrow.. Cause I can feel it coming up now.:laughing:. Lou

I've been thinking about this Lou and the right pairing would probably work really well. MacAllen 12 is already a little sweet so the chocolate covered pretzels would be good with that.
