I think you folks are being a little tough on Coke. There is not a more universally American product that is sold around the world. Besides, no matter what language, they were all singing America The Beautiful. Just remember that commercials are not about anything but selling product. Like it or not, Coke's customers are not all English speaking Americans, but the dollars spent are greenbacks and end up at the corporate offices in Atlanta, Georgia. Coke has made many commercials with people from all over the world. They have universal appeal, world-over. Now, if they had Glen Beck spewing his version of of things, I'd bet they wouldn't sell nearly as much product, maybe even end up like Billy Beer.![]()
Isn't Dublin Dr Pepper made in Ireland?![]()
Jim;
The Dublin (Texas) Bottling Plant is where Dr. Pepper was first bottled.
Dublin Bottling Works, home of the pure cane sugar soda
Had it with Crown once and it was actually good!
Under the circumstances, that would be better than a "full house"![]()

I think I read somewhere recently that there was a dispute with Dr. Pepper over that plant in Dublin so I'm not sure if they even make it there anymore. I thought DP was originated in a pharmacy in Waco years and years ago. I always intended to go to the Dr. Pepper museum but haven't made it by there yet.
The museum is still in Dublin but they no longer make the real sugar Dublin Dr. Pepper there. They had a dispute with Snapple and settled.

Look I am not here to start no dispute
Crown is something you wear on your head
Coke is something that you snort
Dr. Pepper is something you give to the grandkids
To get them out of house so you can mess with grandma..
If she making Christmas cookies you know with a lot sugar?..
I think Texas annexed Dublin Ireland when we heard we can make a buck with a Doctor that lived in Waco..
selling peppers..
we thought It was chili peppers,,
we didn't know it was a Dr. Pepper..
our we would have left it in Ireland,,
cause the only pepper we had that tasted like a Doctor was a jalapeno..
hot and cost a lot,,
Anyway he gave up his day job of giving out two aspirins and calling be tomorrow to sell some kind of sweet stuff that don't go well with Crowd..
Just saying I may be wrong this one.. but it feels right after a taste of the good stuff.. coke and crown.
Sorry Dennis and Two Bits just trying to keep the facts right according to Lou.:laughing::laughing:.. Lou
