Where did TBN move the link to start a new thread? I can't find it now.

Brandi, go to the particular forum you want (not a particular thread). In this case "Rural Living" and you'll see the "Post New Thread" where this thread shows "+Reply to Thread".

I've had that same problem, logged out and don't know why. Then I have to get a new password. I don't understand this stuff..........I'm pretty low tech, and I like it that way.

The morning started out 33* and freezing rain. Later a little sleet and now snowing pretty good. About 3" sticking on the ground so far. Just lost the satellite signal so it's quiet and very pretty.........someone turned my "Snow globe" over........

Stay warm and be safe if you have to go out.

31-32 degrees to start the day and three-quarters inch of water (rain and sleet melted) in the gauge, then snow, about .02" in the gauge after it melted, and just now the SUN CAME OUT!

Like Brandi and Charlie I notice I always have to log back in to TBN if I'm gone very long. I've never logged out and went forever without having to log in to the point I forgot my password. Maybe TBN changed something?

Sitting at the resort in Angel Fire, New Mexico. Tried snowboarding for the first time. It wasn't pretty. Son, daughter in law, and son in law are going up the lift for one more run. I'm exhausted. Maybe skis tomorrow. At least I've done that before.
We left at 3:30 Saturday morn. The roads from Fort Worth to Wichita Falls were pretty icy. Amarillo to Angel Fire wasn't too bad.

Wow it finally turned pretty yesterday afternoon. Sun was out and with the temp above freezing most of the snow has melted. We had a little over 1 1/4" frozen in the rain gauge. It should be thawed out enough today to empty and start over. Still mud season, though. Walking across the front yard was like walking on wet sponges.

I had a quarter inch of ice (frozen rain) in the bottom of my rain gauge and about three and a quarter inches of snow on top of that, but it all thawed yesterday and I dumped about .81" inches of water out of the gauge.

And yep, wet sponges is a good description of the lawn.
