Texas Fall/Winter thread!

The kiddos had a blast, grass is still green (for the moment), built a nice fireplace fire, ate some great chicken tamales for lunch, now making some chicken and rice soup.

We still have snow in the shady spots and it will probably still have some in the morning since it is 32˚ tonight.

I can just imagine what she will roll in to give it a good doggy fragrance. I should be getting her POD3 any day now.

We had a little fun here in Conroe and kids stayed up way too late playing in the white stuff. (Per my forum handle I am originally from Canada, so it must have been something in their genes that caused them to want to run around outside at midnight...) It's a rare event for the Houston area, so momma didn't mind.

Next morning was nice up in Huntsville as well where there appeared to be an extra inch or so. Merry Christmas all!

Here a few photos my daughter sent me from Manor. My Grand daughter really enjoyed the snow. I got there Friday afternoon to find one handful of snow left to throw at her. She just giggled.
