In the back plains around Taylor most of the cotton was bailed. Some was still being bailing last week between the weekend rains.

Merry Christmas everyone. Weatherman just said that we are supposed to get another 4 inches of rain this week which will put us at almost 40" since September 7th, never thought my mud crop would be doing so good.

Rough storm here last night. 3" in about 2 hours. Lots of lightning.

Why do they always have to come in the middle of the night? Just to make me lose sleep...

Yep Kyle ...... we were rockin n’ rolling about 3:15 a.m. 2 1/2” measured but, rain was horizontal for a while.

I sleep through most of it usually. The Doberman and Blue Heeler stir me a little bit. Best wishes for 2019 for all.

Slow, all day rain here at 44 degrees. Typical Jan-Feb weather. I'm tired of the rain, for uh..........the last 16 months. I like to dig in the dirt, not in the mud.

It is good hog hunting weather but I’m inside, warm, feet up watching Sunday Night Noir movies. If it was a nice day I would have felt obligated to work outside and I didn’t want to do that today.
