Wow! 7900 posts on a thread used only 6 months of the year!

Hope everyone had a great Christmas and looking forward to getting rid of 2020 and better things in 2021.

Happy New Years .. in advance?

Yep, it was a pretty day to be out running around and I did. My wife and I wanted a sweet onion, a couple of cans of cream style corn, and a few cans of blackeyed peas. The north side Denton Walmart had none of those. The Hickory Creek Walmart did have one variety of blackeyed peas, but no cream style corn and no sweet onions. So I drove on to the old Lewisville store and found a big supply of all three.

But at least it was a nice day to be out driving around, and I wasn't in any hurry. Of course my wife was afraid I'd had an accident because I was gone so long.

This was my Saturday evening view. And I enjoyed a cold beer with it.

We thought our son-in-law had it, but it turned out to be a different problem; not covid. So he spent a few days in the hospital, but is OK now. Our grandson and his wife are surviving at home so far.

Glad to hear it's no worse! Take care of the family!

Hope everyone started the New Year off with some rain last day or so. We got a choker in E. Texas and they turned the burn ban off at home so I guess I'll go back and burn the small brush pile I have accumulated.

40 degrees this morning, calling for 1-2" of snow Sunday. Will take all the moisture I can get here

Got nice rain over the last ten days--about 3 inches worth. Snowing right now in Cedar Creek area. About 4 inches on the ground. Can't remember the last time we had measurable snowfall.

Ahhh....snow sticks to mark driveway...before it snows. Is beautiful though.
